BREAKING: Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys Draws Attention on Thursday
|Dak Prescott, the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, is once again astounded by his golf abilities. Fans were taken aback this week when the three-time Pro Bowler made an incredible 65-foot birdie putt at the Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.
The moment occurred during a lighthearted matchup between the well-known YouTube team Good Good Golf, Prescott, his brother Tad, and backup quarterback Will Grier. The sun was sinking and the match was knotted at five-under when Prescott stepped up and made the winning putt.
The match was all in good fun, but Prescott’s fiery celebration had the internet buzzing.
“At least he’s clutch when playing golf, 60m a year ffs” one fan joked on X.
Another quipped, “He hasnt had a reason to celebrate like that in years!!!!”

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (4) walks on to the field before the game against the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium.
“Must have been a regular season match,” a more doubtful fan added, making fun of the Cowboys’ postseason record. But whether you like him or not, it’s obvious that Prescott’s competitive advantage hasn’t diminished in the least.
“God! Why guys act in this way has always baffled me. One admirer remarked, “It’s just a putt.”
It’s a welcome sight for Cowboys fans after Prescott missed half of last season with a hamstring injury. Now healthy, he’s locked in with a $240 million extension and a revamped offense featuring new head coach Brian Schottenheimer and receiver George Pickens.
“Let’s see clutch in a playoff big dog,” another fan commented.
“It starts with personnel,” Dak said recently, highlighting the team’s changes. “I’m super excited.”
Prescott’s 2023 All-Pro campaign and his 2022 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year honor show he’s still a leader on and off the field. With training camp set for July 21, all signs point to a focused, fired-up No. 4 aiming to end Dallas’ long Super Bowl drought. And for what it’s worth, he’s definitely got his short game on point.
