BREAKING: Kelsey Plum will play against the Lynx after recovering from a left leg injury.
|This weekend, Kelsey Plum will be available for the Sparks after missing one game because of a left leg injury.
With Kelsey Plum back in the lineup, the Sparks will receive much-needed assistance. Plum missed one game because of a left leg injury, and the Spartans couldn’t win without her. Plum was no longer listed as unavailable in L.A.’s injury report for their Saturday game against the Lynx.
The Sparks waived Grace Berger, a hardship signing they acquired while Plum was out.
Plum only missed one game of action because of her left leg injury, which is fantastic news for the Sparks. When questioned about Plum’s injury, head coach Lynne Roberts did not provide a comeback date.
This injury was probably not extremely significant because she only missed one game.
Now that Plum is back, the Sparks have their best player back. In each game, she averages 20.9 points, 5.6 assists, and 1.7 steals. In all three categories, she is the team’s leader.
Los Angeles benefits from more than just Plum’s production. At 36 of a possible 40 minutes, she is also playing the most minutes on the team.
Rhyne Howard, who averages 36.1 minutes per game, is the only player in the league with more time on the floor.
Having lost just one game this season, Minnesota is currently ranked #1 in the WNBA. Los Angeles, meanwhile, has only won four games this season and is having trouble winning.
