Texas A&M Dealt Unfortunate Transfer Portal News On New Year’s Day
The Texas A&M Aggies ended their 2024 season on a low note, losing the final three games of the year to the Auburn Tigers, the rival Texas Longhorns and finally to the USC Trojans in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Now, the new year has already picked up right where 2024 left off for Texas A&M. According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Aggies wide receiver Noah Thomas has entered the transfer portal.
Thomas was a four-star prospect (247 Sports) out of Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas. The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder ranked as the 40th-best wide receiver and the 37th-best prospect out of Texas in the 2022 class.
In three seasons in College Station, Thomas recorded 73 catches for 984 yards and 15 touchdowns. The 2024 season was his best statistically, as he tallied 39 catches for 574 yards and eight touchdowns.

As a senior in high school, Thomas was a finalist for Greater Houston Area Offensive Player of the Year by the Touchdown Club of Houston. He was also named 24-6A unanimous first-team all-district selection.
Thomas is the 21st player the Aggies have seen enter the transfer portal over the past month. However, they have brought in 10 new players for the 2025 season, with more likely to come in the near future.
