Leylah Fernandez shared a video blog about her days at the US Open. The 23rd seed suffered a painful first-round defeat against Anastasia Potapova, 2-6, 6-4, 7-5, falling far below expectations for the former runner-up.

Despite the early exit, Fernandez recently shared a video showcasing part of her routine in the days leading up to the tournament, including her training sessions, meals, and even how she analyses her statistics to improve aspects of her

“I’m excited to show you the behind-the-scenes on how I bring out my best,” the former US Open runner-up said. The video also shows Fernandez’s journey from her hotel to the training centre.

I’m just about to warm up, I’m getting ready to get on court to get ready for the last Slam of the season,” she said. “I normally warm up between 45 minutes to one hour,” la former world No. 13 added.
