Dynamic top 100 tight end Andrew Olesh commits to Michigan
Top 100 tight end Andrew Olesh entered his official visits with Michigan as the program to beat, and no one could overtake the Wolverines.
The Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh blue chip prospect ended his recruitment Monday evening when he announced his commitment to the Wolverines, and his belief in tight ends coach Steve Casula was a driving factor in the decision.
“He’s really just a down to earth guy,” Olesh said. “He is someone I could talk to about my family and not just football. He is really an around guy that is a football coach.”
In addition, Olesh like the personal recruiting touch Michigan coach Sherrone Moore displayed during the process, accentuated while on his June 21 official visit.
“He texts me and calls me almost every day,” Olesh said. “He is easy to reach out to. He is great with relationships. The head coach was around nearly the entire (official) visit. You could talk to the head coach. He was always there.
