Jeffery Paul Wise, 59, of Sergeant Bluff, IA, passed away November 15, 2023, at a local care center. Services will be held 10:30am Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the United Methodist Church in Sergeant Bluff. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff is handling the arrangements.
Jeff was born on December 28, 1963, in Storm Lake, IA to Robert and Mary Lee (Mann) Wise. He attended school in Cherokee, Sioux City and Sergent Bluff-Luton. He graduated from Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School in 1982. He then graduated from WIT in 1983 with an equipment rental degree. Jeff moved to Houston, TX after graduation to work in rental stores and other retail stores. In 1995, he moved to the Des Moines area and worked in retail stores. In 2021 he moved to Sergeant Bluff. Jeff enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts and hanging out with friends. He loved his family and will be remembered for his kindness and gentleness.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Robert and Mary Lee Wise, Sergeant Bluff, IA; brothers: James (Michelle) Wise, Elm Springs, AR, Mark (Tami) Wise, St. Johns, FL; 7 nephews and nieces: Chelsea (Ian) Anderberg, Granger, IA, Christopher (Heather) Wise, Farmington, AR, Dominique Espinosa, Fayetteville, AR, Devon Espinosa, Fayetteville, AR, Jordan (AJ) Jones, Lincoln, AR, Drew Wise, North Liberty, IA, Adam Wise, Tallahassee, FL; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Lynn and Doris Wise and Vivan and Jane Mann; and an uncle, Dennis Wise.
