Boogie Fland is sticking with John Calipari.

After Calipari left Kentucky for Arkansas, Fland quickly got out of his NLI with the Wildcats, though Mark Pope did stay in contact with the 5-star guard.

Alas, Fland is now committed to the Razorbacks.

McDonald’s All-American Boogie Fland has committed to Arkansas following a Wednesday official visit to Fayetteville.

One of the top guards in the 2024 class, Fland originally committed to Kentucky in the fall over the likes of Indiana, Alabama, Michigan, and North Carolina, among others. He is currently ranked 19th overall and second among combo guards, according to 247 Sports Composite.

Playing for Archbishop Stepinac (NY), Fland averaged 19.2 points on 46% shooting from the field (36% on 3s) to go with 6.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 steals in his senior season. He was named the MaxPreps New York High School Player of the Year.

Fland joins Karter Knox and Zvonimir Ivisic as former Kentucky recruits/players to make their way to Fayetteville.

One guard Kentucky is still in the mix for is Miami Hurricanes transfer Wooga Poplar.

According to 247 Sports’ Dushawn London, Kentucky is among the schools who’ve already contacted Poplar.

Other contenders include Kansas, Villanova, and Rick Pitino’s St. John’s program.
