While the New England Patriots are in search of playmaking receivers, Nelson Agholor did enough in Baltimore to receive a new contract from the Ravens.
Agholor, 31, spent the prior two years before his Baltimore entry in New England on a $26 million contract, putting up 835 yards in that span. While far from burning the stat sheet in Charm City (381 yards), Agholor’s propensity to score and finish possessions in enemy territory (scoring four of five touchdowns in the red zone) offered him a quantum of redemption after his Foxborough struggles. Barring an extension, Agholor would’ve become an official free agent on Monday.
