West Virginia Mountaineers head coach Neal Brown during spring practice on Thursday.

Saturday afternoon, the West Virginia Mountaineers picked up their fifth commitment of the 2025 recruiting class by snagging Eidan Buchanan, a 6-foot-8, 310-pound offensive tackle out of Olney, Maryland, playing his high school ball at Good Counsel – the same school that produced WVU incoming freshman center Kyle Altuner.

Buchanan chose the Mountaineers over finalists Kentucky, Maryland, Rutgers, and Wisconsin. He also held offers from Boston College, Charlotte, East Carolina, James Madison, Miami (FL), Pitt, Syracuse, Temple, South Florida, and Virginia Tech.
