As one of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft class, Drake Maye has drawn plenty of interest from various teams.

With just a few weeks before the draft gets underway, teams across the league are still doing their homework on their potential draft targets. On Friday, Maye will head to meet with this AFC East team, one that has shown plenty of interest up to this point.

Maye will head to Foxborough, Massachusetts to visit with the New England Patriots as part of a top-30 visit. The Patriots currently hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

This is not the first time that the Patriots will be meeting with Maye, as they met with him at the NFL Draft Combine as well as before his pro day at North Carolina. Now, they will have the former Tar Heel quarterback at their home field as they look to see if he is the right fit for their franchise moving forward.

With Caleb Williams essentially locked into the No. 1 overall pick, the draft ultimately will start with the Washington Commanders at No. 2. There have been mixed reports regarding the Commanders’ stance, as Jayden Daniels of LSU is also in consideration of being the second player (and quarterback) off the board.

It will be interesting to see how the draft plays out, as Maye has drawn interest from various suitors. Along with the Commanders and Patriots, it appears that the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants also have a good amount of interest, as both would have to likely trade up in order to land Maye in the draft.

At this point, Maye might not fall past No. 3, as if all goes well on his top-30 visit, the New England Patriots might end up locking him in as the next face of their franchise.
