West Coast have confirmed co-captain and star forward Oscar Allen will miss the next eight to 10 weeks after undergoing a minor arthroscopic operation, but good news is on the horizon.

Despite Allen having cartilage in his knee trimmed to manage bone stress and pain this week, the Eagles are moving towards their healthiest list in two years.

West Coast named 12 AFL-listed players in a practice match against Subiaco last week and are set to name another with big defender Harry Edwards returning from a broken finger

Veteran and 2018 premiership hero Dom Sheed is tracking for a return within the next fortnight after training strongly, while youngster Jai Culley has recovered quicker than expected from his ACL rupture.
