It’s a highly anticipated part of every Knockout, and now the location for next year’s comp has been confirmed.

As 2023 victors, Walgett Aboriginal Connection (WAC) will host teams from around the state at 2024’s event, announcing on Thursday that the game will be returning to Bathurst.

Legendary prop and WAC player George Rose made the announcement on Thursday from Mount Panorama.

“It’s an absolutely honour to be here today.

“The 2024 Koori Knockout will be held right here in Bathurst from October 4-7th!” he told the assembled crowd.

“This is the largest rugby league knockout in the southern hemisphere, the largest Indigenous sporting event of the year.

“Its a celebration of family, culture and rugby league talent.”
