Florida State just expanded its defensive end board with two intriguing offers out to twin edge rusher prospects out of South Florida.
Three-star edge rushers Darryll Desir and Mandrell Desir visited FSU over the weekend for the Seminoles’ Junior Day and both reported a scholarship bid just a few days after departing from campus.
Defensive ends coach John Papuchis extended the offers to the Miami-based pass rushers.
“Today was a great day. I really liked it. The environment, everything. Especially how [coach Mike] Norvell was talking to me today. Yeah, definitely high on my list,” Darryll Desir said after the visit.
Darryll Desir — who measures in at 6-foot-4.5, 240-pounds — is ranked as the nation’s No. 31 edge rusher prospect and No. 56 ranked player in the state of Florida. Mandrell Desir — at 6-foot-3.5, 240-pounds — is the No. 49 edge rusher prospect and the No. 84 ranked recruit in the Sunshine State.
Cincinnati, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Maryland, Syracuse, Texas A&M and several other programs have offered both twins scholarships.
Both prospects are official visit candidates in the future for the Seminoles.
