Great Lost: West Coast Eagles Has Lost an Excellent Key Player To a Huge Deal Of $500 Million With…..
Richmond Football Club confirms that its National Recruiting Manager, Matt Clarke, will depart the Club to take up the West Coast Eagles List Manager position.
Clarke joined Richmond in January 2009 as a recruiter and was elevated to lead recruitment of the national pool in 2017, where his significant contributions included involvement in three premierships.
The experienced recruiter also spent 12 years with Melbourne before joining Richmond.
Richmond General Manager – Football Talent Blair Hartley said that the Club wished Clarke all the best for the next step in his football journey.
“Matt has worked incredibly hard for this opportunity and the chance to manage an AFL list,” he said.
“It is always sad to see good people go, and Matt is certainly that – but we did not want to stand in the way of him progressing his career.
“We thank Matt for his 15 years of service to Richmond and wish him and his family, Leigh, Emmy, and Jasper, well for the future.”
