Coventry City are delighted to announce the signing of Ephron Mason-Clark from Peterborough United.

The pacy forward arrives at the Sky Blues for an undisclosed fee and has signed a contract with the Club until June 2028.

He will return to Peterborough on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

24-year-old Ephron has been in superb form for League One promotion chasing Peterborough United this campaign, 15 goals and providing 8 assists in 36 games across all competitions.

Lambeth-born Mason-Clark joined Peterborough United in the 2022 summer transfer window from Barnet and a year later was named Captain at London Road. In total at Posh, he has played 82 games and scored 25 goals.

He started his career at Barnet, working through the Academy ranks and making his debut in 2016. Ephron would make a total of 185 appearances for The Bees, scoring 22 goals.

Manager Mark Robins said:

“We are delighted to agree the transfer of Ephron to Coventry City.

“He is a pacy and exciting forward, who plays off the left, and has a great attitude both on and off the pitch.

“We’re really pleased to bring Ephron to the Club and we’re sure that our fans will be too, although we will have to wait until the summer to see him in a Sky Blue shirt.

“This will conclude our transfer business in this window.”

Mason-Clark said:

“I am delighted to get the deal done. I really appreciate everyone behind the scenes who have made this possible.

“At Peterborough, both myself and the team are doing well. I can’t wait for what the rest of the season will bring and then to get the ball rolling here as a Coventry City player.

“It is going to be an honour to be a Sky Blue. I want to thank my family, for keeping me level headed, and the people at Coventry who have put in tireless hours to get this sorted. I also want to thank God, that my journey has led me here.”
