LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville football program’s 2024 iteration of their annual spring game will take place on Friday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. EST from L&N Stadium, the program announced Tuesday. The spring game will also be televised on the ACC Network. The Cardinals experienced a successful 2023 campaign in year one under head coach Jeff Brohm. Louisville finished the season with an overall mark of 10-4 for their first 10-win season since 2013, including a 7-1 record in ACC play to clinch a berth in the program’s first ever ACC Championship Game. UofL fell to Florida State in the league title game, as well as to USC in the Holiday Bowl to end the season. Year two of the Brohm era is shaping up to potentially be one where they could make push for a return to the ACC Championship Game. Not only does Louisville bring back 13 starters from the 2023 team, they are bringing in 26 transfers as part of a loaded portal class. According to On3, the Cardinals have the No. 1 portal class in the cycle. Louisville also signed 14 high school prospects. Louisville will kick off their 2024 campaign against Austin Peay on Saturday, Aug. 31 from L&N Stadium. Kickoff time and television designation have yet to be announced.
