Things can change in a matter of months, as seen by Louisville’s recruitment of Lloyd Memorial High School forward EJ Walker from Erlanger, Ky.
. Following an interview with Louisville in October, Walker told Cardinal Authority that he was focusing on the connections with the schools that had offered, adding that “I still have a lot of high school basketball left and things might shake up down the road.” My recruiting is wide open.
Louisville welcomed the 6-foot-8 Walker back for another visit on February 3 for a game against Florida State, which the Cardinals won 101-92. During his visit, UofL head coach Kenny Payne offered Walker a scholarship.
The second member of Louisville football’s 2025 recruiting class is a local player. North Oldham offensive lineman Gradey Anthony, who announced his choice on January 26, appears on this edition of the Cards Cast to discuss the reasons for his commitment and more.
Louisville’s ’25 class presently has three commitments, including quarterback Mason Mims and the most recent addition, offensive lineman Jake Cook.
