After finishing a postgame interview with reporters on Saturday, Brice Williams learned that Josiah Allick will be on the platform soon to speak with the media. Williams smiled and said goodbye to everyone, “Oh, you’re going to be here all night.”
A few of weeks ago, after a win, Allick gave the postgame chat in the locker room, and Fred Hoiberg commented in his deadpan tone that they had to cut him off.
Allick is well aware of his ability to communicate. And when told that the media had placed an over-under bet on how long he’d talk following Nebraska’s 79-59 victory against Michigan, he found it amusing.
There are no complaints from this corner. The Husker senior, who after a win over Indiana said, “It wasn’t all flamethrowers and 4-wheelers to start it,” brings candor to the table as he talks about how important this one and only season in a Nebraska uniform is to him.
Some gamers can aid a person in writing a tale by providing quotations. Allick gets a solid box score on that front.
