LAS VEGAS — According to 247Sports, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star receiver Jaime Ffrench is the country’s number 30 overall prospect. According to industry composite rankings, he is a five-star recruit. The 6-1, 185-pounder is presently uncommitted after previously being committed to Alabama. With practically every offer on the table for him, the class of 2025 prospect has the freedom to attend almost any school he wants.
This weekend, Ffrench traveled to Las Vegas for Nike’s “The Next Ones” event, which included 34 of the country’s top high school football prospects. The meeting of the class of 2025 talent was about having fun, getting to know each other better, and forming a fraternity among the top high school students.
Some of the top prospects from the state of Florida in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes competed on Sunday at the Orlando Under Armour Camp at Bishop Moore High School.
Recruiting never stops and it is a big point of emphasis at the University of Miami under the leadership of head coach Mario Cristobal.
Miami signed the No. 4 overall class in the 2024 cycle and the No. 7 bunch in 2023.
It is the first time the Hurricanes have signed the consecutive top ten recruiting classes during the 247Sports era.
UM and Cristobal will look to sign that type of class again in 2025. Take a look at some of the top prospects from the north Florida area that competed at the Orlando Under Armour Camp on Sunday in the photos below.
