On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers, as they look to create a win streak for themselves in the midst of what has been a tough start to February. Prior to their win on Saturday night, the Sixers had been on a four-game losing streak, which has seen them fall to the fifth-place spot in the Eastern Conference standings. Their win against the Washington Wizards didn’t come easily as the two sides were only separated by six points, with the Wizards keeping within close distance due to three of their starters scoring 21 points or more.
For the Sixers, Tyrese Maxey reminded everyone why he was named to his first All-Star team, as he dropped 28 points on 44 percent shooting while also dishing out seven assists and collecting nine rebounds. Elsewhere for Philadelphia, the recently acquired Buddy Hield made a big impact in only his second match, as the 31-year-old scored 23 points on 56 percent shooting. One name that didn’t feature on Philadelphia’s scoring sheet against the Wizards was Mo Bamba, who was out due to right knee soreness.
