The Wests Tigers fielded seven teams in week one of the NSWRL junior representative season over the weekend, with four sides winning.
The first round of action began with Wests Tigers’ two female teams facing off at Points bet Stadium versus the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
It was our Lisa Fiaola team’s first competitive match, and the girls performed admirably, defeating the Sharks 20-18 after the score was tied 6-all at halftime.

Congratulations to our squad on their very first triumph! It was a seesaw contest, with the squad demonstrating their ability to play well when they had control of the ball. The guys’ defense held up well when needed, which was a true highlight.
The players’ grins after the game, as well as their enthusiasm when singing the winning team song, demonstrated how much it meant to the whole playing group.
