Sean Reagan, the West Virginia quarterbacks coach, is moving to become the offensive coordinator at Troy, where he will reunite with Gerad Parker. According to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports, WVU plans to elevate Tyler Allen to fill the job.

Allen worked as a graduate assistant under Neal Brown at Troy for a year before accompanying him to West Virginia. He spent a short time in Morgantown before becoming the quarterback at Jacksonville State, where he helped Zion Webb earn all-conference first-team accolades. He returned to West Virginia in 2022 as an offensive analyst before taking on the role of special assistant head coach in the spring of 2023.

Reagan has been a member of Brown’s West Virginia team from its inception and has worked with him since 2008. Reagan coached the Mountaineer quarterbacks from 2019 to 2021 before transitioning to the tight ends room, giving Graham Harrell complete control over the offense and passing game.

After Harrell went to become the offensive coordinator at Purdue, Reagan returned to teaching quarterbacks and helped Garrett Greene have a fantastic debut season as a full-time starter.
