Gradey Anthony, an offensive lineman at North Oldham High School, committed to the University of Louisville just days after visiting Camus for Junior Day.
The 6-foot-5, 266-pound Anthony has visited campus numerous times before, but he spent time with U of L head coach Jeff Brohm and his staff on Tuesday’s Junior Day. Richard Owens, the offensive line coach at the University of Louisville, and Brian Brohm, the offensive coordinator, had visited him at his school earlier that day for a workout.
Anthony announced his committment over social media on Friday night.
This past autumn, Anthony played both sides of the ball for a 7-5 North Oldham team, but he plans to play offensive line in college. Anthony has a 79-inch wingspan, and this was not his first visit. He stated he went to multiple games at the University of Louisville last autumn.
During his junior year, Anthony led an offensive line that allowed the Mustangs to rush for 890 yards and pass for 2,565 yards. As a defensive lineman, Anthony recorded 33 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery.
He is the Class of 2025’s second pledge, joining quarterback Mason Mims of Oxford, Alabama.
