Fortunately, fans may take a big sigh of relief as Shams Charania of The Athletic confirmed that Randle will be sidelined for a few weeks due to a dislocated shoulder.
“Knicks star Julius Randle is expected to be sidelined for at least a few weeks with a right shoulder dislocation,” Charania said in a statement.
They expected to be without their second-best scorer for a lengthy time, but an MRI revealed no structural damage.
The Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers are now competing for the fourth slot in the Eastern Conference, and they are only six games behind the first-place Boston Celtics.
