Despite the fact that the national signing day for the class of 2024 is not in the coming weeks, the recruiting class of 2025 has begun to make verbal commitments and take command of the recruitment scenario. Carter Lowe, the four-star offensive lineman, announced his engagement today. The Ohio native signed for the Ohio Buckeyes and Ryan Day.

The Toledo, Ohio native is only 2 1/2 hours from Columbus and has committed to a college that has recently been on fire in terms of recruiting. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Day is now the 79th-best player in the country for the 2025 class, the ninth-best tackle, and Ohio’s third-best player.

Lowe picked Ohio State over Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Michigan, and their recruiting class presently ranks sixth in terms of verbal commitments for 2025. It is a terrific pickup for Day and his staff, who have recently cashed in on the transfer portal.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have been recruiting the 2025 class all over The Peach State as well as the surrounding states that border Georgia, but there is still plenty of time in this recruiting class to grow their class and possibly land another top-rated recruiting class, as they did in 2024.
