Michigan departures for the NFL have been steadily rolling in this week, and two more were added to the list on Monday night when receiver Cornelius Johnson and tight end AJ Barner declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Johnson, who played for Michigan for five seasons, had career highs in receptions (47) and receiving yards (604) this season. Johnson’s season career high in touchdowns was in 2022 where he had six. Johnson had one touchdown this season. Johnson finishes his Michigan career with 138 receptions for 2,030 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Barner, who transferred from Indiana to Michigan this offseason, was an excellent TE2 for the Wolverines and was considered to be one of the best blocking tight ends in college football. Barner hauled in 22 receptions for 249 yards with one touchdown. Barner finishes his collegiate career with 64 receptions for 610 yards and five touchdowns.
