The NFL announced Wednesday that Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner was one of three Seahawks players selected to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Wagner was chosen along with rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon and safety Julian Love. Wagner was selected to the Pro Bowl for the ninth time in his career, while Witherspoon and Love made their debuts.

Wagner’s ninth Pro Bowl nomination in his 11-year NFL career ties him for the most in franchise history with Hall of Fame tackle Walter Jones and quarterback Russell Wilson.

Wagner returned to the Seahawks in 2023 after spending a year with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022. He leads the team with 168 total tackles, second in the NFL and the number is just three away from his career high. Wagner also has 3.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss. Wagner has posted at least 100 tackles in 12 consecutive seasons, just the third player to do so since the NFL began tracking tackles as a statistic.

Witherspoon has 16 passes defensed in 2023, which ranks first among rookies and fifth overall in the NFL. His 68 tackles rank fifth among rookies and his 3.0 sacks rank 11th among rookies. Witherspoon was named the NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month in October and he’s a strong candidate for the NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
Love, who signed with the Seahawks as a free agent in March, has set career-highs in interceptions (four) and passes defensed (10), and has 103 tackles, while also playing a big role on special teams, recording a team-leading 12 tackles.
