COMMITMENT STORYLINES
Among FSU’s 23 pledges, a couple storylines we’re keeping an eye on today are:
FSU grabbed 5-star DB KJ Bolden’s commitment in early August, edging out Auburn and Georgia. Following his formal visit to FSU this past weekend, both of those schools have been linked to Bolden as making significant final pushes in recent days.
4-star DL Armondo Blount – Blount switched from Miami to FSU in late October, but that switch is expected to be reversed on Wednesday. He’s slated to join the Hurricanes.
TARGET STORYLINES
FSU is also attempting to bolster their recruiting class by flipping and/or signing a couple targets. Click here to see a list of FSU’s top targets. Following are some names and notes for Wednesday’s targets:
WR 5 stars – Jeremiah Smith FSU, a long-time Ohio State pledge, is attempting to steal the nation’s top commitment away from the Buckeyes. The states of Florida, Miami, and others are also participating.
DL 5 stars LJ McCray – The nation’s No. 6 overall prospect recently chose Florida. Auburn and Florida State are still pursuing and pushing for a switch.
Edge (4-star) Amaree Williams – The Sunshine State athlete recently reclassified from the 2025 to the 2024 class and visited FSU this past weekend. According to Noles247’s Zach Blostein (here), he was not expected to make a decision and sign during the early period as of Tuesday.
3-star DL D’Nas White – Florida State appears to be in the driver’s seat to acquire the talented defensive lineman from North Carolina.
