FSU brings in another elite talent, this time in Kam Davis, a longtime commit.
Following their 13-0 record, the Florida State Seminoles created a lot of excitement in 2023. During his time at FSU, head coach Mike Norvell has transformed the program from a 5-7 squad lacking a distinct identity to a conference champion.
At last, the wait is over. Despite the program’s difficult 0-4 start, four-star running back Kam Davis, who has been committed to FSU since 2021, has not wavered from his vow. The seasoned graduate of the 2024 class has signed his Letter of Intent throughout.
Throughout his nearly three-year pledge, Davis has visited Florida State’s campus frequently. Unwavering in his recruiting efforts, he continues to work with Tribe24 teammate Luke Kromenhoek, who also signed on Wednesday.
During his final Official Visit in December before to signing day, Davis stated, “I just want to keep building a relationship with the coaches and the players and let them know that, since I’ve always been loyal, I’m still down and I’m ready to sign.” “It had already been official, but just putting it on paperwork and being able to get here in January is something that’s going to be one of the biggest accomplishments going into the next chapter.”
After signing at his high school, the 5-foot-10, 200-pound back early enrollee will be joining his teammates in January. According to 247Sports, he is ranked as the No. 69 player nationwide, No. 12 in Georgia, and No. 3 running back nationally.
Despite being an explosive runner, Davis played quarterback in high school. He will be joining the running back room that Trey Benson (NFL), Rodney Hill (transfer portal), and CJ Campbell (transfer portal) have left empty. According to MaxPreps.com, he finished his career with 3,157 yards on the rush and 35 touchdowns while adding 5,575 yards passing and 40 more points.
The native of Albany, Georgia, among others, had offers from Louisville, UF, Auburn, Alabama, and LSU.
