Green Bay Packers Fans React to the Rams’ Huge Decision Following the Signing of Mason Crosby
The Green Bay Packers have made a number of difficult decisions in recent offseasons. They have parted ways with a lot of experienced players who have lived in Green Bay for a long period. Mason Crosby was among the guys at the top of that list.
Following the 2022 season, the franchise’s leading scorer was not re-signed. Crosby was signed by the Los Angeles Rams for the remainder of the season in Week 14. They’ve made yet another decision concerning the experienced kicker.

Despite the fact that he has only been with the Rams for a short time, Los Angeles is in severe need of a kicker. Brett Maher and Lucas Havrisik were both unable to kick consistently, each making fewer than 74% of their field goal tries.
As unlikely as it may sound, the Rams are still in contention for an NFC wild card position. If they are to succeed, all three stages of their game must be in sync. Because of the instability at kicker, they have chosen to promote Crosby from the practice squad for this weekend’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport broke the news on social media:
Crosby will now face off against Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker, widely regarded as the best kicker in the NFL today and one of the best of all time. Tucker, on the other hand, is having the worst season of his career. He has made 21 of 26 field goal tries, for an 80.8% success rate. If this holds up, it will be by far the lowest mark of his career.
