DC Adam Fuller signs 3-year contract extension with FSU, receives raise
Adam Fuller is remaining in Tallahassee after agreeing to a three-year contract extension
Florida State defensive coordinator Adam Fuller signed a contract extension to remain on with FSU, 247Sports‘ Matt Zenitz reports. The extension is for three seasons.
Fuller made $1.1 million in 2023, and was slated to make in $1.2 million in 2024. Fuller’s new salary has not yet been released.
Fuller, who arrived at FSU in 2020 as he followed Mike Norvell over from Memphis, has seen year-of-year growth with the Seminoles. That includes this season’s dominant performance in which FSU was 10th nationally in yards-per-play (4.68) and 6th in points allowed (15.9 PPG) while also being the only team in the country to allow a completion percentage fewer than 50 percent (46.8 percent).
Continuity among his coaching staff has been a key part of Norvell’s success, and keeping Fuller while FSU has accumulated perhaps the best collection of defensive backs in the country is a step towards sustaining success.
FSU is on a 19-game winning streak. In that span, the Seminoles are 8th nationally in yards-per-play allowed (4.7) and 8th in points allowed per drive (1.41).
