Derrick Henry Will Sign With The Baltimore Ravens In 2024 According To Bleacher Report Prediction

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has been one of the best running backs in the league for his entire career. He has had great individual success, however, his team has not amounted to much throughout his career. According to Bleacher Report, the Baltimore Ravens could look to grab the star running back in free agency during the offseason and pair him up with mobile quarterback Lamar Jackson, which sounds like an unstoppable duo.

This move would make a lot of sense for Baltimore to take some of the weight off of Jackson’s shoulders, and it would make the team’s rushing attack borderline unstoppable. Henry has been involved in a lot of trade rumors with Baltimore amid the Titans’ struggles this season, and he was one of the top names brought up during the trade deadline. Many thought that he would be going to a new team as head coach Mike Vrabel said that they will listen to all offers for every player on Tennessee, Henry included.

However, it seems that no teams put up a reasonable offer for Henry as he still remains with the Titans. He will become a free agent after this season, and the Ravens are one of the top teams to land the star running back. Henry has always been a tough runner, which is something that the Ravens’ rushing attack has been missing, and it could bring a whole new element to the offense.

Why Henry To The Baltimore Ravens Makes Sense

Although Baltimore could not secure the trade, they reportedly had the deal set in place before Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk vetoed the blockbuster move. The Ravens interest in Henry has nit died out, though, and they will still have a chance to secure him during free agency in 2024. With a depleted running back room and a run-first offense, Baltimore sounds like a perfect fit for the veteran.

While this is just a rumor, it is certainly an intriguing idea that Henry could be partnered with Jackson on the same offense. With all of the speculation and interest from the Ravens, and the Titans’ struggles seeming to only get worse, the star running back seems to be almost destined to play for another organization next season. We will see if these rumors start to heat up once again once free agency begins.
