Auburn flips 5-star Phenix City WR Cam Coleman from Texas A&M after Jimbo Fisher firing
In arguably the biggest win on the recruiting trail yet for Hugh Freeze in his Auburn tenure, Cam Coleman, a 5-star rated wide receiver from Phenix City, has flipped to the Tigers. Coleman announced his decision on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He flipped his commitment from Texas A&M to Auburn after the Aggies fired head coach Jimbo Fisher. The Aggies eventually hired Mike Elko away from Duke and let go wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig — who played for Auburn.
His commitment to Auburn came suddenly and immediately got celebratory reactions as well as praise for Auburn wide receivers coach Marcus Davis from Auburn players, coaches and commitments.
