Detroit Lions Injury Report for Week 13 of the NFL
The Detroit Lions are generally healthy heading into their Week 13 game against the New Orleans Saints. The extra week off following the traditional Thanksgiving Day Classic allowed Detroit’s roster to recover from three physical games in 11 days. Linebacker Alex Anzalone was the only player not visible at the team’s Allen Park practice facility on Wednesday.
“Certainly a small recovery is significant. When you have two games in five or four days, a little rest and rehabilitation goes a long way. “Just having three days to shake some of that off,” Dan Campbell explained. “But it also gives you a moment to reflect, and as I mentioned, you get a chance because of that fact, two games in five days, to go back and watch Chicago. You can go back and watch Green Bay to get a sense of where we can truly help and improve. Those, along with the fact that you’re now preparing for this opponent, go a long way.”
Jonah Jackson, the left guard who has been out with various ailments this season, was observed at practice.
Detroit’s offensive line collectively had one of their worst performances against the Packers, which added to veteran quarterback Jared Goff’s problems. With Jackson potentially returning, Detroit’s offense will be able to get into a rhythm sooner and appear less disjointed on the road against the New Orleans Saints.
