Everton are interested in signing Winsley Boteli, according to transfer rumors.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Everton are keeping a close eye on talented Borussia Monchengladbach striker Winsley Boteli.

Juventus are also keeping an eye on developments, according to the Italian writer, with scouts already on the lookout for the 17-year-old star.

Boteli is now the under-19s Bundesliga’s best scorer and has signed with a new agency, Chris Mandiangu, ahead of a potential future move.

“Understand Juventus and Everton are both keeping a close eye on Swiss talented striker Winsley Boteli (17),” he said on X.

“Scouts are keeping an eye on Borussia Moenchengladbach striker Chris Mandiangu, who recently signed with Chris Mandiangu as his new agent.” He is presently the best scorer in the U19 Bundesliga.”

For many years, there has been a region of the pitch that has produced problems.

That problem would suddenly disappear if Dominic Calvert-Lewin could remain fit and play 38 Premier League games in a season, but that isn’t the case right now – though he is looking excellent.

Youssef Chermiti and Beto both came in the summer but have failed to make an impact after only a few months at Goodison Park.

If Boteli were to arrive in the near future, he would likely go right into the academy, where he would be able to mature even more in England.

However, it is encouraging to have one eye on the future, with Jarrad Branthwaite exemplifying what signing young players can achieve in a couple of years, as he already waltzes through games with ease.

This is one to keep an eye on.

In unrelated Everton news, a BBC analyst believes that a first-team player recently did and said something that shocked the rest of the squad.
